Milan, June 2020 – DOCKERS® launched “The work dress code study”(*) – an international study that provide an exhaustive analysis of clothing used by European men at work in the Pre-Covid period – has created a significant partnership with Domus Academy to identify the future of casualwear.

The Californian brand, since its beginning was always attentive to innovation and social changes, and was the first brand in the nineties to introduce the casualwear at work with the “Casual Friday”, an official request to 25,000 Human Resources managers of large US companies, asking them to grant their workers one day a week for casual dress, by replacing the suit with a chino pants, at the beginning only at Friday.

With this partnership, DOCKERS® has supported the training course of the students who are doing a Post-graduate in “Fashion Design” at the Domus Academy. The students managed the entire design process, sharing the brand’s values of innovation and sustainability.

“The analysis of the global social context, the attention to sustainability issues, are among the founding elements of a contemporary design process and taking part in this project was a natural choice for Domus Academy. In collaboration with companies and professionals in the sector, we face issues that have the ambition of producing research, the same research that interdisciplinary must feed the design of those who will operate in the creative industries (and not only) in the near future “- says Mark Anderson – Director of Education of Domus Academy.

To celebrate 10 Year anniversary of Levi Strauss & Co.’s Water<Less® techniques Dockers® launches “10 Year Water<Less®” special collection, a modern take on casual classics, featuring Dockers® most-loved Alpha Chinos and an assortment of t-shirts, button-ups and sweatshirts in a bold, hand-picked color range.
